Zenivy provides multiple productivity tools, each with specific data access needs:

OAuth Scopes for Login

We request only the minimum permissions needed for authentication:

Note: Login authentication is separate from product-specific permissions. Signing in to Zenivy does not grant access to your Gmail messages or other sensitive data.

3. Inboxless Service

Inboxless is a desktop email analysis and inbox cleanup tool that helps you understand your inbox and remove unwanted emails. This section explains how Inboxless accesses and processes your Gmail data.

3.1 Data We Access

When you connect your Gmail account to Inboxless, we request the gmail.modify permission, which allows us to:

Data Type Purpose
Email headers (sender, subject, date) Analyze sender statistics and categorize emails
Email content preview Identify newsletters, notifications, and email types
Email labels and status Understand read/unread status and categorization
List-Unsubscribe headers Provide one-click unsubscribe functionality

What We Do NOT Access

3.2 Why We Need gmail.modify Permission

The gmail.modify scope enables Inboxless to:

  1. Read emails: Analyze your inbox and generate sender statistics
  2. Delete emails: Remove emails you select for cleanup (batch delete)
  3. Modify labels: Move emails to trash or archive when requested
Important: Inboxless only performs delete or modify actions when you explicitly initiate them. We never automatically delete or modify your emails.

3.3 How We Process Your Data

Inboxless is designed with privacy-first principles:

Principle Implementation
Local Processing All email analysis is performed on your device, not on our servers
No Upload Your email content is never transmitted to or stored on our servers
